They said she couldn't, so she did

Step into a world where embracing your fury is the only option. Woman of SALT is the dangerously enticing story of one woman's journey through Life, Love and Drag.

After ten years on the Melbourne Drag scene, Bella Nitrate bares her scars in a production unlike any other. From the pages of notebooks, to the stages of Melbourne, Bella was born from an obsession with drag and a deep love of everything fabulous. Little did she know what lay ahead was the most important lesson of all.

Experience the unmerciful cosmos of life as an AFAB girl in a man's world and how she learnt to embrace her rage and use it to Stand A Little Taller.

About the Artist

Bella Nitrate is a lady born from glitter, glam, and built from the ashes of what she burnt in order to become what she'd never thought possible.

Stepping on to a stage for the first time in 2012, she faced backlash for being a woman in a man's world. Bella was determined to amaze and create a lasting imprint on the drag scene. Performing on Melbourne's stages for 11 years since, Bella's true passion is to entertain the masses, if only to distract them from the reality of everyday life for a few minutes.
