Residency Exhibition - Talking with Pride
Image: by Timothy Greaves
We are thrilled to announce this year's exhibition, a collaborative effort between the Box Hill Community Art Centre and the Family Access Network. We proudly present the remarkable work of the Talking With Pride group, an initiative dedicated to empowering young people to express themselves and celebrate their unique identities through art.
Talking With Pride provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for young people to explore and create. The group has facilitated diverse arts-based activities and psycho-education, covering essential topics such as mindfulness, artist identities, boundaries, body mapping, and emotional expression. This exhibition is a testament to their creativity and resilience, offering a glimpse into the participants' powerful stories and perspectives.
