EQUALS

This one's for the small town kids
In the wake of moving from a small town to big city Naarm, two young people are locked in a sharehouse bathroom at a bad party. Watch as they figure out who they must become to survive in a city that lacks the sincerity of country Queensland.
Wacky, episodic, and casually Brechtian, EQUALS carries its audience with open honesty, brutal sarcasm, and cutting queer, blak humour.
It’s a duologue.
EQUALS is a short, heartfelt, comedy written and directed by Cynda Beare, and performed by Annabel Hunter and Elisheva Biernoff-Giles, produced by Claudia Harris, stage management and set design by Ivy Miller, lighting design by Alyssa Jayde, and sound design by Jack Calder.
This show depicts a story about transgender experience, and a discounted ticket price is available for transgender audience members.
