DADDY is back in a brand new show

Brent Thorpe DADDY is back in 2025 with his new show DADDY DON’T DROP THE SOAP. Still committed to ageing disgracefully and throwing off the shackles of shame, DADDY is here to set the worst example to people young and old that he possibly can. He is paying homage to our queer past, disrupting the zeitgeist and looking forward to a fabulous future where all people live shamelessly and embrace life to its absolute fullest. DADDY says, ‘You’re never too old to take a pill and dance on a podium in a jockstrap’.

"This is not just a show, it’s an experience."
— DanceLife Magazine
"He bursts out of backstage like a cum-filled cannonball. A student and prophet of gay culture at its most camp."
— Sydney Arts Guide
"The show shoots from the hip, with acid-tongued bile and Aussie brashness at its finest, but below the surface is poignancy, vulnerability and a search for self. Like all the great performance artists, satirists and provocateurs, there is a powerful, political punch at play."
— Emerson & Ward Productions, Manchester
