QUEEN KONG and the HOMOsapiens are a Melbourne-based punk, performance art, queer rock band. The alter-ego of Yana Alana, Queen Kong is a mythological, immortal half-being - part rock and part ape - with the ability of metamorphosis and a heart of gold. Backed by all-queer, all-gender-variant rock band the HOMOsapiens: Bec Matthews, Cerise Howard, Gen Bernstein and Jo Franklin.
