Forty Years of Kate Bush

Let's Share The Experience!
Presented by Queer Club

Sat 20 Jan 4 – 9pm
Edinburgh Gardens, Cnr St Georges Rd & Alfred Cres, North Fitzroy

To mark the anniversary of the global release of her smash hit debut single Wuthering Heights on 20 January 1978, Melbourne Kate Bush fans will be treated to a sublime tribute of dance and song celebrating four decades of The Queen Of Art Pop.

Under An Endless Sky Of Honey you will be Among Angels in beautiful Edinburgh Gardens. We encourage you to Show A Little Devotion and dress to WOW in your choice of Kate Bush inspired look from the past 40 years. We will be Reaching Out with some amazing prizes for outfits that show a Deeper Understanding.

To get the festivities Moving we begin with a workshop lead by mass dance instructor extraordinaire Anna Go Go. Regardless of age or ability, together we'll reach Wuthering Heights; this ebullient Strange Phenomena is All We Ever Look For. Experience it, Feel It!

Finally, embrace The Sensual World and Eat The Music with a two hour twilight picnic concert and a Blow Away line-up of musicians and performers paying unique homage to the one and only Rubberband Girl.

Running as part of the 2018 Midsumma Festival, this special interactive event is hosted by Queer Club, a small Not For Profit association supporting young LGBTQI filmmakers and artists aged 13 to 20 from the outer south eastern suburbs and rural Victoria.
