Please use the form below to register a stall at the 2018 Midsumma Carnival on Sunday 14 January 2018.

Be sure to read the Essentials section in the Carnival Stalls Information Pack and please take a moment to read through the entire form before entering any data, to make sure you have all the information you need.

You cannot partially fill in your registration form and return to it later, so please have all your material ready at the time of registering your stall.

This will be what your stall is referred to online as well as on the Stallholder Map on the day.

Signage
What signage will you be displaying at your stall?

Please note that nothing is permitted to be nailed or pegged into the ground - it must be either water or sand weighted.
No signage is permitted to be stuck on the walls of the marquee either.

Does your group require placement away from certain stalls, such as ‘not near Youth Groups' or 'not near R-Rated groups’?

Each general booking includes the following on the day (but can be customised to add extra features - see next section):
  • Space: 3m x 3m marquee space
  • Table: 1 x 1.8 metre trestle table

Do you wish to purchase Roving Rights?
If you would like to undertake activities in the wider grounds at Carnival more than one metre from your stall, you will need to purchase Roving Rights. Anyone caught distributing materials at Carnival more than one metre from their stall without a pass will have their materials taken from their possession.

By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
This includes, but is not limited to, the acknowledgement of:
  1. Deposit: the $50 deposit being non refundable if the registration is withdrawn or cancelled by either party.
  2. No Balloons: balloons are prohibited in the decoration of stalls, due to potential cause of environmental damage.
  3. Food Traders Permit: a food traders permit from the City of Melbourne via Streatrader is required to hand out food or beverage and no food or beverage is allowed to be sold. Failure to submit a permit by 1 December 2017 will prevent any food or beverage from being distributed within the stall.
  4. Do not litter: printed collateral (flyers, cards, brochures or other) distributed must include the words Do not litter, Please dispose of this responsibly or words to that effect.
  5. No pegging: nothing may be pegged into the ground, make any holes in the ground and or cause damage to the grass at Alexandra gardens.
  6. Trees: no banners, signage or similar is permitted to be affixed to any tree within the event site.
  7. Electrical Equipment Tagging: all electrical equipment is required to be tagged and tested prior to arrival on site. Failure to do so will result in items being removed from the site or confiscated by Midsumma staff.

That email will also include a link to enable you to pay the deposit for your stall registration. Midsumma will send you an invoice for your outstanding registration fee, which will be required to be paid in full within 14 days.
