Midsumma Festival was founded on the lands and waters of the Bunurong, Taungurung, Dja Dja Wurrung, Wadawurrung and Wurundjeri (Woiwurrung) peoples of the Kulin Nation. Midsumma acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are the First Peoples of these lands, and pays respect to First Nation Elders, past and present.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Midsumma Festival 2025 such a huge success: the event producers, actors and presenters, venues, the hundreds of volunteers and the audiences.

In 2026, Midsumma Festival will run from Sun 18 Jan to Sun 8 Feb. The Major events are all on Sundays: Midsumma Carnival: 18 Jan — Midsumma Pride March: 1 Feb — Victoria's Pride Street Party: 8 Feb
