Midsumma Presents is our curated program where Midsumma collaborates with outstanding artists and cultural institutions from Victoria and around the world. It's intersectional, it's vibrant and it brings people together. 

Experience fresh collaborations between Midsumma Festival and some of Victoria’s outstanding cultural institutions.

The Midsumma Presents program also incorporates the Major Events and the Queer Imaginings program.

• MAJOR EVENTS: All our much loved Major Events are free and all are held on Sundays:
  • Midsumma Carnival, 19 January at Alexandra Gardens (CBD)
  • Midsumma Pride March, 2 February | Fitzroy St and Catani Gardens (St Kilda)
  • Victoria's Pride Street Party, 9 February | around Gertrude and Smith Streets (Fitzroy)

• QUEER IMAGININGS: This year's focused highlight, commissioned and produced by Midsumma as part of Midsumma Presents, Queer Imaginings invites audiences to immerse themselves in the diverse and nuanced experiences of LGBTQIA+ creatives, offering a unique lens on queerness as a shared and collective journey.
