Meet 'The Quizmaster' Tom - Midsumma's (heart of gold) Volunteers Coordinator
First of all, Tom is one of our favourite new additions to the Midsumma team, not just because he brings in chocolate, or because he initiated the cool 3pm Team Quiz, but it is because of Tom's cool, kind and passionate attitude about making Midsumma Festival 2020 super successful and fun (particularly for the volunteer recruits).
Tom was also Volunteer Coordinator at Melbourne International Film Festival but has also held logistics and event delivery roles at NZ Festival, and Adelaide Fringe Festival.
A super valuable member of Midsumma Team, Tom is also your 'go-to' if you want to jump on board and become a volunteer for the 2020 Festival. We're looking for recruits now who are keen to volunteer for multiple things during the festival 19 Jan - 9 Feb.

Q: What is the future of queer arts and culture? A continued, indelible encouragement of open-mindedness, evolution, and education through personal and cultural expression.
Q: Best festival experience? A Guide Dogs meet and greet party with Guide Dogs Victoria at Melbourne International Film Festival.
Q: What keeps you awake at night? My dodgy dislocated shoulder.
Q: Where is your favourite place in the world? Byron Bay. On the beach with a mimosa.
